Land for Sale in Gujarat
Gujarat is one of India's most active land markets, driven by industrial corridors (Delhi–Mumbai DMIC, Dholera SIR), a large agrarian base, and a long history of cross-region investment. The dominant land categories sold here are agricultural (kheti), NA (non-agricultural, residential or industrial), and GIDC industrial plots. Buying patterns differ sharply by region — central Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Kheda) leans urban-fringe and industrial; north Gujarat (Mahesana, Patan, Aravalli, Sabarkantha) is agriculture and dairy-led; Saurashtra (Jamnagar, Amreli, Surendranagar) carries coastal, cotton, and groundnut land alongside salt and refinery industrial use; south Gujarat (Bharuch, Surat, Bharuch) is chemical and petrochemical heavy. Gujarat's agricultural land laws restrict NA conversion in some categories and require tukda (fragmentation) rules to be respected; non-agriculturists generally cannot buy agricultural land without permission. Always verify the 7/12 extract, survey number, and zoning before any transaction.
